4 lbs of Bush’s Baked Beans
2 cups of onion diced
¼ cup prepared mustard (spicy brown)
¼ cup molasses
2 cups Brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 lbs of Bacon cooked and crumbled (crispy but not hard under cooked slightly)
2 lbs Ground turkey or lean beef well browned
¼ cup ketchup
1 Tablespoon diced garlic
Combine all in a crock-pot and cook on low 8-10 hours stirring occasionally.
Served with grilled meat and potato salad or by it’s self with fresh hot bread buttered.
This is a Schmeckpeper family favorite. Leftovers reheat well and taste better.
