3/4 cup baking soda
3/4 cup white vinegar
10 drops of tea tree oil
10 drops of lavender essential oils
Directions: Combine baking soda and essential oils in a mixing bowl. When ready to clean toilet bowl add vinegar and pour mixture into the toilet. Then scrub with toilet brush. This is a single use recipe. There is no method of storage due to the fizzing action. I add a splash of bleach after scrubbing. There is a difference between clean and sanitary.

This is excellent! I like the “all natural” balance! Debra
this is awsome I too have been tring to be as natural as I can one step at a time !!
I use vinegar to clean with all the time because it is a safe alternative to bleach. The addition of the tea tree oil should further reduce the germ factor and smell better too!
So, technically, you should not need the bleach to accomplish your goal of “sanitary.” BTW, I get the “digest version of your posts, and wanted to share with you that I liked them ALL! Great stuff, and thanks for the Gluten Free recipe too! ~ Lynda
