3/4 cup baking soda
3/4 cup white vinegar
10 drops of tea tree oil
10 drops of lavender essential oils

Directions: Combine baking soda and essential oils in a mixing bowl. When ready to clean toilet bowl add vinegar and pour mixture into the toilet. Then scrub with toilet brush. This is a single use recipe. There is no method of storage due to the fizzing action. I add a splash of bleach after scrubbing. There is a difference between clean and sanitary.

I use vinegar to clean with all the time because it is a safe alternative to bleach. The addition of the tea tree oil should further reduce the germ factor and smell better too! :) So, technically, you should not need the bleach to accomplish your goal of “sanitary.” BTW, I get the “digest version of your posts, and wanted to share with you that I liked them ALL! Great stuff, and thanks for the Gluten Free recipe too! ~ Lynda
